  Went for Sunday lunch... wad super quiet so service was amazing (really friendly guy). The food is nice and ok price - but not filling. small serves, we were still starving after!

  I would give this place -2 stars if I could. Nice enough venue but the staff are horrible people- especially security. I was pushed & shoved by 3 doormen to the point that they actually hurt me. Their reasoning- they thought I was drunk and apparently that’s enough reason to physically Assault a girl. Pretentious place and the venue isn’t even that great, there’s much nicer places on chapel st to go. The doormen deserve to be unemployed.

  The Emerson positively wreaks of self importance. Drinks are overpriced and you have to wait ages for them. I suppose it costs extra to have them delivered with a smile. House wines barely taste like wine at all. And you have to pay for this. Just to get in. Door staff are of the variety that make you line to massage their own egos. Some people think this kind of dive is the bee's knees. They'll love it. For the discerning night goer, there are enough red flags before you even step inside to warrant walking further to somewhere classier.
