    Upon return, staff inspected the car with me, and had me sign a return form saying it was all fine, first time I see that in Australia. They are a water wise facility when it comes to washing cars, bonus points.

    Only downside is that vehicle aren't fitted with e-tag for toll roads. They have it covered with some sort of extra plan, but I just avoided toll roads.

    The arrangement that i have with this branch is that i would like to continue hiring the vehicle monthly, until potentially the end of the year or early next year but rather than pay 1 month up front each month, i would pay each Tuesday $320 to get me through, week by week, as this is what my financial situation allows.

    Helpful and professional staff. Hired a car for 5 days at a great price following a "Pay 4 Get 5" sort of promotion. I was provided with a quick overview of the car basics after a joint inspection before driving off. Car was in great condition, clean and reliable, didn't have any issue.

    Very poor customer service. ..and they provide car which already have dirty smoke smell and when we going to return car they blaiming that have smoke smell and have to pay $150 for steam cleaning. ..so this is how they run business and get paid salary. And also no responsible if by mistake if we forget any items in car like GPS or handsfree...this is what I had an experience and same also reviewed on Facebook page reviews as well...very poor service.

    The team at hertz south yarra & Clayton head office, still insisted on treating me like a criminal, insinuating that the authorities would be contacted if the car wasn't returned (even tho i had payed!) And even After i had explained that i had spent THOUSANDS of dollars with them this year alone, and was happy to contiune doing so, they STILL would not agree to keeping payment as it was, and DEMANDED in a very RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL & QUITE DISGUSTING manner that i return the car, or pay 1 month advance, EVEN THOUGH the contract that i had signed is a weekly contract!

    on Tuesday i had called the branch and spoken with Jamee as per normal to notify him that the next 320 was available to be taken out, i had also confirmed with him that payment was up to date & no moneys were outstanding. He had confirmed this and agreed that the total amount from this Tuesday to next would be $320 as normal.

    Helpful staff and convenient location near South Yarra train station. However there is no Gold desk so members will have to wait, and the lot is very small and crowded making getting the car out a lengthy process.
